Seattle, WA, March 17, 2023 – Following a public solicitation, Sound Transit has selected Inter-Con as an awardee of its mass scale Uniformed Security Guard Services (USGS) Contract. Under the six-year contract, Inter-Con will be responsible for providing more than 150 security professionals to secure its multiple train stations across King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties. Pre-pandemic ridership reached nearly 50 million people across Sound Transit’s popular Link light rail, ST Express, and Sounder services, with multiple extensions currently under construction.
